Description

I was asked to do a paw/ werewolf hand tutorial...But I actually don't think I can teach you anything. As I'm still learning how to draw paws myself. So I just did a sort of paw anathomy study of the front paws of my werewolves: the Ulfheobar, in animal and beast form.
You can use this as a tutorial if you want, but I doubt it'll help. Anyway, remember that anathomy knowledge is very important for drawing: the more you know of human and canine anathomy, the better the paws will come out. To draw muscle and skin you must first know how the bones go.

This is a very interesting look at anatomy. It's really helpful. Although I'm a bit curious as to how this applies to cat paws. If you look at the anatomy, "retractable claws" are the result of an interesting bone mechanism in the paws. But I'm having a hard time mixing that with the structure of a human hand.
